DIY: Lined Envelopes

Last year I got such a cute handmade Valentine’s Day card from Caitlin, that I felt the need to step my game this year and spend some time crafting hers. I can’t let her out do me, right? To look for some inspiration, I hit the internet and saw that there is a growing trend of lined envelopes. I really liked this idea and decided to make it my own by using some of the Unbound Pages I ordered from Photo Creations, and folding them using some envelope templates that I found online in a Google search. Once the cards are folded, you can use an acid free adhesive to glue the bottom flaps together and make it functional.

Since the Unbound Pages are only printed on one side, you can leave the outside white to add a mailing address and stamp. If you are not mailing the envelope you can fold the envelope so that the printed part is on the outside, and use a section of another Unbound Page and glue it in before you fold it to be the envelope’s lining.

Now that her envelope is done, I have to get to work on the card. What will you do to personalize your valentines this year?
